        Vision

Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, The Butterfly House is driven by a passion for collaboration and a deep commitment to addressing the unique needs and service gaps of our clients. With a clear focus on growth and impact, we aim to expand our services throughout the Charlotte Metro area—and eventually across the U.S. Northeast. By continuing to reinvest in our community, we will offer critical assistance to individuals in need of transitional support.

We understand that we are only as strong as our most vulnerable neighbors. Therefore, we invite community stakeholders and organizations to

partner with us. Together, we can provide the help that is essential to creating a healthier community and a better world. "Together, we can go farther!"

        FLIGHT PATH: Programs & Services

In the life of a butterfly, the chrysalis (the home which keeps the butterfly safe while they transform and prepare for flight) plays an instrumental part to their growth, development and the gift of beauty they will share with the world. Guided by this principle; our sober living houses/transitional living facilities provide structured and supportive environments for individuals recovering from addiction. We assist residents in maintaining sobriety while transitioning back into society - typically after completing formal treatment like inpatient rehab or outpatient counseling.

        Featured Services Include:

        • Abstinence-Centered Environment: Residents must remain drug- and alcohol-free.

        • Peer Support: Individuals live with others in recovery, fostering a sense of community.

        • Structure and Accountability: Programs include rules like curfews, mandatory drug tests, and participation in 12-step meetings or therapy.

        • Continued Treatment: Residents receive referrals and case management geared towards mental health and wellness.

        • Employment and Education: Encouragement to seek work, education, or vocational training and are provided with the tools for securing gainful employment.

        • Supportive Staff: Staff offer guidance and enforce rules.

        • Gradual Reintegration: The program helps individuals gradually transition into mainstream society.

        • Accountability for Relapses: Clear policies for addressing relapses.

        • Financial Responsibility: Residents contribute to living expenses, which are lower than traditional housing costs while gaining budgeting skills. Initial occupancy requires a $75 non refundable application fee plus the amount of first week's rent.

        • Community Involvement: Encouragement to engage with local recovery groups and support community volunteer efforts.

These programs serve as a bridge between treatment facilities and independent living,
helping individuals practice coping strategies while learning how to maintain a healthy and sober life.
